Nari Mukti Mahila Samity (NMMS) was established in the year 1977 at Gangarampur, Dist. Dakshin Dinajpur and registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1961 in the year 1979-80.

The Organisation is located at Subhaspally (B.D.O.More), Ward no.16, P.O.& P.S. Gangarampur, Dakshin Dinajpur with 2 storied building. The adjoining areas of the building are surrounded by garden and free spaces used for various other purposes.

Since inception, NMMS has devoted it’s time and energy for serving various noble causes which comprise of numerous social and developmental works, particularly in all the backward areas of the blocks throughout the district.

Registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961,
Registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976 of Govt. of India,
Registered under section 12A and 80G of Income Tax Act , 1961
Registered under NITI Ayog, Govt. of India

Our Experience

Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA)

As a District Training Centre (DTC) of ASHA Training Programme of Dakshin Dinajpur District, Nari Mukti Mahila Samity (MNGO) has successfully completed different rounds Training during the period through its good accommodation and other facilities.

The White Ribbon Alliance- WB (Quality of Care)

District Partner of The White Ribbon Alliance –West Bengal for Dakshin Dinajpur District, Nari Mukti Mahila Samity commenced the work on Safe Motherhood since 2009. NMMS continues various programme on Safe Motherhood in previous period.

Internet Saathi

Nari Mukti Mahila Samity is working on Internet Saathi Project in Dakshin Dinajpur District. It is an initiative of Google and Tata Trusts. Internet Saathi is a programme to improve digital literacy among women in rural areas in India.

Srijan Plus Project

The Srijan Plus Project run among the adolescents at 5 YICs at different places of 3/2 Gram Panchayat under Gangarampur Block in Dakshin Dinajpur District with cooperation of Jamsedji TATA Trust. They are trained on various issues like education, public health, skill development etc.
