Scheme for Adolescent Girls-Kanyashree Prakalpa (SAG-KP) Convergence Programme
Nari Mukti Mahila Samity has working experience on Scheme for Adolescent Girls-Kanyashree Prakalpa (SAG-KP) Convergence Programme at Gangarampur & Tapan ICDS project area in Dakshin Dinajpur District. It is unique initiative to convergence SAG and Kanyashree Programme together in view of holistic development of adolescent girls from the age group of 11-18 years (both school going- going and out of school) to address their multi dimensional vulnerabilities in education, nutrition protection and health. This convergence programme is being implemented through ICDS cell.
Main Objective of the programme are to reduce different social vulnerabilities like school dropout, early marriage, trafficking. Mainstreaming out of school adolescent girls through linking them with Kanyashree Prakalpa. Skill Building by providing vocational training in convergence with Utkarsha Bangla.
